Numbers are strictly limited to 200. Entries will be accepted on the day if we are able to accommodate. It is not permitted to swap your entry (and entry fee) to another participant and we offer no refunds.
The start/finish is from Bradwell Sports Pavilion, Bradwell, North Derbyshire S33 9ST. Grid Ref: 175818. The pavilion is approx 0.5km to the north of the village on the B6049 and is opposite the Samuel Fox pub. Look out for the roadside event signs – parking is on the adjacent playing field (if very wet marshals will direct you accordingly).
Marshalls & Support
As a sportive event, roads will not be closed and normal rules of the road apply. Marshalls will be provided at the most difficult points. All riders must obey Marshall commands. If you have any problems please contact a marshall. You must also comply with any requests that they make of you. A mechanical team will be positioned at the start of your ride. Please contact a marshal should you need assistance. Minor problems are the responsibility of the rider. An emergency contact number will be issued at registration.
All riders are responsible for there own belongings and carrying water on the route. All bikes must be roadworthy, helmet and carry puncture repair outfits. All riders will be issued with registration numbers. The mobile phone number registered on application must be carried for emergencies.
Please remember: No helmet, no ride.
Registration will take place at Bradwell Sports Pavilion from 7am. Parking arrangements will be clear. Starts from the sports playing fields will be staggered from 8am. All registrants must check-in on completion at the finish location.
You may start at any time you wish between 8am and 9:30am.
The 7 hills (Hill Billy) will have a cut-off. If you do not reach this back at Bradwell by 14:30, you must go straight to the 5 hills finish.
You will be given a start and finish time only but please note that this is not a race. You must follow the rules of the high way code.
At the start of the event you will be given an emergency contact number. Should you need to drop out or should you require emergency assistance during the event, you should ring this number or inform the nearest marshall. It is absolutely essential that you inform an official/marshall if you retire from the event.
The route finishes in Bradwell at the sports pavilion (start venue).
When you cross the finish line you must hand your entry number back: a) this will ensure you get an accurate time and b) we can keep track of who has not yet finished.
